AOI: Real-time defect detection and optical measurement of products on the production line. In addition to the pursuit of high detection rate and low misjudgment rate, the research and development team has recently focused on the training of detection models with few-shot learning, uneven positive and negative samples, and algorithm design to reduce the cost of manual labeling.
Smart Healthcare: The research and development direction cover clinical computer-aided diagnosis system (CAD), fall detection system and non-contact physiological monitoring system that meet the needs of long-term care. The team's recent research focuses on the integration and analysis of various medical imaging information to obtain more comprehensive and accurate auxiliary diagnosis predictions.
Biometrics: The application includes iris/fingerprint/palmprint/face recognition. Due to the need of epidemic prevention, we have dedicated to the development of an automatic forehead temperature measurement system and identity recognition system with masks on.
Intelligent Transportation System (ITS): The intelligent transportation system developed by our team can detect various types of vehicles and calculate the traffic volume in real-time. Moreover, with the video synopsis technology, users are allowed to filter specific vehicle types and directions in a short period of time. Recently, the smoky vehicles detection system and traffic obstruction detection and elimination system have been further developed, and the integrated system has become a part of smart city applications.
