Industry-Academia Cooperation
•Chroma ATE: Development on the algorithms for optical inspection, including computer vision technology, camera auto-calibration technology and deep learning algorithms for object detection. Recently, we have focused on reducing the cost of manual labeling and the algorithm design under limited learning samples.
•Megaforce: Design the real-time defect detection and specification measurement system on the production line of a plastic injection factory.
•Ebara Corporation (International collaboration with Japan): AI optimization mechanisms on the chemical mechanical polishing process.
•Jiyonson/BeanGo Cube: Cooperate with the Taiwan Specialty Coffee Quality Alliance(TSCQI) to designed an optical system for a coffee roasting machine manufacturer to monitor the coffee bean roasting process.
•Tri-Service General Hospital: Cooperation with the well-known Da Vinci surgical team (Doctor Wang Yuqi) from the Tri-Service General Hospital to develop a clinical surgical navigation and lesion detection system combined with AI object recognition technology.
•IONETWORKS: Use image recognition technology to develop a fall detection system that meets the needs of long-term care, traffic obstruction detection , and smoky vehicles detection.
•LILIN: We cooperate with the manufacturer of advanced IP security surveillance recording products to develop an anti-spoofing mechanism in biometric technology, as well as the fusion sensor of radar information and optical images to extend the scope and improve the accuracy of surveillance detection.
